We are currently seeking suitable candidates for the following commercial positions, both of which offer excellent career opportunities and attractive remuneration packages.

Commercial Manager

This important role has a national remit and would suit someone who is a good communicator and has a detailed knowledge of the products currently available to growers. It involves liaison with our customers, suppliers, and UAP agronomists and supports the role of the Commercial Director of UAP.

The ideal candidate will require a sound understanding of the agricultural industry, focusing in particular on the commercial, purchasing and product aspects of the industry. You must possess excellent communication and organisational skills, have reasonable IT skills and be a good team player. An understanding of the fruit and vegetable sector would be an advantage.

This role forms part of our UK Commercial team and is based at our offices at Alconbury near Huntingdon.

Farming Business Manager

The role will require a sound understanding of the agricultural industry, and will involve dealing with large farmers and purchasing operations. The role will manage and develop the commercial area of the business directly and in association with other UAP staff.

The role reports to our Commercial Director, and is preferably based near to our Alconbury offices.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the non advised sector of the market, be a good communicator and be prepared to travel around the country.
